Chris Lippitt opened Smart Riders for the first time during October 2004 after many years of work in the trade as technical support and an area representative for most of the products that we stock. His aim was to build a shop that not only sells the right products but a shop that gives the right customer service and advice, all suited to the customer's needs and budget. Chris has been riding motorcycles for over 25 years now with a career in Professional Motocross Racing, regular trips touring in Europe and many weekends spent riding round in circles (quickly!) at several race tracks around the UK. 

Matt Phillips joined Smart Riders during March 2008 after several years working as technical support within the trade side of the motorcycle industry, again with most of the brands that are stocked here at Smart Riders. Matt has also gained his experience out on the road using the products we sell on a daily basis, although he's yet to find his way to the race track!

At Smart Riders we stock a huge range of motorcycle clothing including gents and ladies, leather and textile; and full size ranges where available, from XXS to 12XL! Our knowledge of the products we sell comes directly from the factories that we've visited during our careers as well as using them on a daily basis. We have built good relationships with the importers and we source all the products we sell from within the UK meaning that every item comes with its full UK warranty.
