Probably one of the most popular in the Rukka range, the Arma-S is also one of the only CE approved jackets available on the market today. It is constructed with Armacor featuring the GoreTex XCR Pro Shell to make it breathable, windproof and waterproof. The GoreTex Pro Shell consists of three layers, the thin inner comfort lining, then the GoreTex, then the fabric outer; these are bonded together to make one complete outer skin. This means that no water can be absorbed by the shell of the jacket and so it won't become heavier when wet and most of the water will run off the jacket before it can evaporate.

Armacor is a combination of Kevlar and Cordura fibres that make the abrasive resistance as good as leather, in addition to this, Superfabric has been fitted to the key areas (shoulders and elbows); Superfabric is a new type of finishing process that adds a ceramic layer to the outer skin. It is pretty much impenetrable and helps to make you slide rather than tumble reducing the risk of injury. That combined with Rukka's CE approved RVP Air armour make this one of the most protective textile jackets you can buy.

Rukka's Patented RVP Air Protection offers CE approved protection that is 100% breathable and completely flexible. This flexibility means that in the case of an accident the contact patch with the ground can be increased by up to 100 times compared with conventional armour meaning that there is less damaged caused to the outer skin of the jacket and more importantly less damage to you.

GoreTex XCR (X-tended Comfort Range) is 25% more breathable than standard GoreTex to ensure that your own micro climate is kept where it should be throughout a wider range of weathers.

The outer skin of the Arma-S jacket has been treated with TFL Cool Black. TFL Cool is a process by Dow Corning that causes the fabric to reflect heat rays from the sun reducing it's temperature by up to 25%.

For extra comfort Rukka have introduced Outlast to the 60g removable lining. Outlast acts as a thermal buffer reducing the rate in which your body changes temperature meaning that the micro climate within the jacket keeps at a comfortable level far longer than normal.

There is plenty of adjustment available on the arms and wrists, then for freedom of movement stretch Cordura panels on the sides of the torso to make this jacket a good fit all over. A neoprene collar is complemented by a removable wind/waterproof neck tube.
